CreativeFuture works with the Congressional Creative Rights Caucus (CRC) to bring creative teams from individual movies and television shows to D.C. to talk about the process of making their films or shows.
The Creative Rights Caucus was founded in 2013 by Representative Judy Chu (D, CA-28). Today, the bipartisan and bicameral Caucus has over 50 members and is co-chaired by Representative Drew Ferguson (R, GA-3), and Senators Mazie Hirono (D, HI) and Thom Tillis (R, NC).
CreativeFuture brings members of the creative community to meet Members of Congress and Hill staffers to put faces to the names of the people whose livelihoods are threatened by piracy.
We have brought writers, directors, actors, producers, editors, composers, production designers, costume designers, VFX supervisors, showrunners, and more from our creative community.
